Day Twenty-Four

The alarm was set for 4:45 a.m.  I woke at 4:30.  Turns out Les had been awake since 3:30.  Needless to say, we were both anxious to get on the road to home.  We got up and got ready and left.  Stopped at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast.

Traffic was traffic; too many trucks and too many other vehicles.

We made it home and are currently in the process of getting things put away.  We have some help by our furry boys who want attention.  They were afraid we were not returning.  :)  As we were unpacking I heard something outside and it was K.W., who had come to mow our yard again, so Les doesn't have to do that right away.  Everything is dry and wilty anyway.  We obviously need rain, even with the sprinkler system.

Les plans to play golf in the morning and I plan to go to the Commissary and then rest.  And probably finish the laundry.  There is a mountain of it!

Stay safe and God Bless America!

P.S.  From now on, adult family members will be referred to by name.  Children by the nicknames.  :)
