Day Eleven

Today was a day of getting from "there" to "here".  Here is Idaho Falls in an absolutely awful Rodeway Inn.  Don't stay here.  I will more than likely write more on this at a later date when I can trust my editing.  Let's just leave it at "false advertising" for now.

Coeur d'Alene was absolutely beautiful and we had a great time.  Golfer enjoyed the golf experience and has lots to tell his golf buddies.

We drove down through Idaho and back into Montana. Then through Montana and back into Southern Idaho to get here.  It was a long day.  We had a tense time when gas got really low and Kirk was saying maybe another 50 miles worth.  We finally found a small, one-street town that had a combination bar/casino/gas station.  That would be a station with one pump and one choice of gas.  We were not picky at that point and filled up.  We got rained on and saw some pretty impressive lightening.  After we got through that it's been sunny and hot.

Tomorrow will be a much shorter drive than today. We will be seeing Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, and whatever else we come across.

We are back in Mountain Time now.

It's time to go find some dinner.  Stay safe and Gold Bless America!
