Been Busy!

It's been a while since I posted.  I have been busy.  We'll be having the aeration and seeding on our yard in about two weeks.  After that we're supposed to not be out on the grass areas too much so the seed can sprout.  Soooo, I have been trying to get yardwork done whenever I can and whenever the heat and humidity are tolerable.  Things are pretty well under control out there.  There are just a couple more things left that I want to get done.

The extreme heat cut the life span of our Geraniums and they were pretty much done.  I emptied the porch pots and washed them out and they are put away until next Spring.  And since Fall decorations make me happy, this is our porch now.

Kroger had pumpkins for $5.00 and I also had my Kroger card discount, so I got them there.  That was a good decision on my part.  I went to the Commissary today and the same size pumpkins were $11.99 each.

We have had cooler temperatures overnight for a couple nights and it's felt wonderful.  It is still heating up during the day and getting uncomfortable though.

Les had a doctor appointment and it went well.  More appointments are coming up.

Eloise is doing well and she had an appointment to meet Dr. Weidinger.  Everyone at the clinic was so happy to meet her and happy Les and I adopted her.

Tomorrow Les and I have appointments to get our senior flu vaccines.  Then in two weeks we have appointments to get our new Covid boosters.

I have my annual mammogram the end of the month.

Next week we have the annual cleaning of our dryer venting.
