More of Day Three

Well, it was a busy, noisy day here today! A real flurry of activity. Those power hammers never sound all that loud when "Norm" uses them on TV!!!

The men from ABL contructed the supports for the glass block wall, and did some other reinforcing of areas. The correct new door is temporarily up. It will have to come down when the sheet rock is installed, but for now it's covering the opening in the doorway.

The electrical subs got the outlet situation to their liking, and installed the new recessed lights over the shower area. Also the new vent/light combination over the toilet area. Vent is very quiet. However, when they were showing me how quiet, it blew the air up into the attic and then that brought down pink insulation. The part that will connect the vent with the duct to the outside did not arrive. They also did the wiring for the new lights over the sinks. those lights don't go up until the drywall is up.

That's the light/vent on the left and some of the support beam on the right.

Days 4, 5, and 6 are a long holiday weekend. Monday the plumber is supposed to come.

Have a Happy 4th!
