Well, today seems rather slow going. I was up and ready. Scott, the site supervisor, came by about 8:30 to tell me the plumbers would be arriving later in the morning. While he was here, Scott checked on a couple things in the bathroom and made some adjustments.
The plumber and helper arrived about 11:00. They were supposed to meet the "boss" plumber here. He was delayed. Eventually, they were all here and in the bathroom. Lots of talk, directions, and discussion. Then they looked at the fixtures still wrapped up on the pallet in the garage. They made a "shopping list" of things they needed for all the connections and such. The boss was going to get a jack-hammer for them to use. They were all going to get lunch, then supplies and then return.
About 2:00 they came back with bags of stuff. And no jack-hammer. I guess the boss had decided a big sledge hammer would do the job. There has been lots of pounding and lots of muttering in there for a while now. (none of this has helped the headache I woke up with this morning!)
While they had all been out, Scott came back expecting to talk to them. He said Kirk, the tile man, should be here tomorrow. He expects the plumbers to finish their work today. (I'll let you know how that works out!)
