We're Home!

Golfer and I just returned from our annual Myrtle Beach trip for the Retired Military Golf Classic Tournament.

We had a lovely week.  The weather was great.  There were a few storms but for the most part they were late in the day or during the night.  So no cancelled rounds and no spoiled pool time!

We had a wonderful time visiting with friends, going out to dinner, and sometimes just relaxing.  Golfer and I even got to visit with a friend he was stationed with in Germany.  He and his wife have a lovely place where they spend their weekends in MB.  It was fun catching up and telling stories! 

Some of the ladies like to do a lot of shopping.  Me, not so much.  My major shopping trip involved buying Crocs for all the grand-kids.  Here's a picture of the size range.  There were two other pair that fit in between these!  But I love this picture!

The furry kids have been helping us unpack and put things away.  L, our kitty sitter, always does a great job with them and keeping an eye on the house.

We did have to call AAA though.  Golfer tried to start Rico, his truck, and the battery was dead.   We're not sure what's going on with that since it's a fairly new battery and nothing was left on in the truck.  He's out driving it now to charge it up.
