I Would Like to Read Some Nice News

There seems to have been an abundance of disturbing, stressful news lately.

Great Britain's vote is messing with the world's financial systems and the stock market is stressing. World markets are stressing.  Good luck to Great Britain!

There seem to be terrorists lurking about everywhere and killing innocent people.  I strongly support securing our borders and only letting in people who are coming here legally, are willing to work and support themselves and their families, and are willing to adapt to our American way of life, including speaking English.  For the misguided fools who are Americans supporting ISIS, I know the security people know about them, so they should do something.  Either lock them up or send them over there to the desert.  Probably some of these home-grown terrorists think it's going to be like playing a video game.  Wake up!  It isn't!  You're killing people.  You can not re-boot and bring them back.

Then there was a long article in the paper explaining about what Obama has done to the health care system, specifically Medicare. This has been going on for several years.  Boo on Obama!  We should give him a pill, since he thinks a pill can fix all senior citizens' health issues and they should just get used to it.

Let's not forget the political fiasco that is on-going.  I won't usually discuss politics, but I have to ask how did our country get into this mess?  My first response is to blame Obama, but I think there is enough blame to spread around.  The liberal left politically correct people who are afraid they might offend someone have had a lot to do with the condition our country is in.  And yes, I am proud to be a very conservative Republican!  I have always worked hard and been a responsible citizen.

And then on a more personal note, I read about one of our favorite restaurants, Joe & Mimma's, closing for good yesterday.  That's just sad.  We are going to miss their salads and their subs.

I'm going to go sit somewhere quiet now and think some good thoughts.  Those thoughts include Golfer, and the rest of our family, and our furry boys.  So here are some happy pictures!

See, you did smile!  And you thought this was going to be a grumpy, disturbing post when you started reading!

Stay safe!
