Hey!

Well, the work continues.  Due to our painter's daughter rear-ending someone on Saturday in his car in Virginia Beach, no painting got done that day. (everyone is okay) He did come on Sunday and then came back last evening and finished up.  Greg is a hard worker.  Our electrician is out of town this week, so the electrical work is still on hold.  But the master bath is done except for the new exhaust fan.  I just finished cleaning the cabinets and hanging some art pieces.  Will clean all the floors this afternoon as well as start some other cleaning.  Really can't put things back in place in the second bath until the electrical is done.

In case anyone is wondering.....the little red bowl is where Angus likes to get a drink of water.

My dental appointment went okay and that is all taken care of.  Curses on really old fillings!

There had been hopes and rumors that the bases would open up on July 1st for retirees to get on base everyday.  We just saw the notice saying that is not happening due to the increase in Covid-19 cases.  We are not surprised at all given how many, many people are totally ignorant, selfish, and uncaring about wearing masks to protect others.  We will continue to wear our masks, gloves, and have our sanitizer and wipes when we need to go out and we'll try to stay safe.

It is hot and humid here.  The lightning bugs are still active in the evenings.  Things are blooming out in the yard.

We had a limb break off our young tree in the back yard.  There hadn't been any wind or storms, and the tree looks very healthy and is growing, so we don't know what happened to it.  I've been wondering is something large tried to sit on that limb???

As far as I know the girls and families are all okay.  Everyone is busy.

Stay safe, people!  Life is great!  And God Bless America!
