Happy Presidents' Day!

For some it is a holiday, others just a regular day.  Do you remember "way back" in elementary school how we made the silhouettes?  Of course, back then we had President Lincoln's birthday and President Washington's birthday separate.  Now it's just one catch-all President's Day on a Monday so people can have a three day weekend.  Nevertheless, have a nice day!  And thanks to all presidents for their service!

In other news, it is a lovely day here in Virginia.  Sunny and high 60's.  Golfer is not home from golf yet. It has been noisy here.  Andy sawed off the front porch rails this morning and is continuing his work on our house.  The new neighbor is having work done at her house, too, and there has been a small bulldozer making noise doing work in her yard.  The furry boys are exhausted from trying to supervise everything!

I have kept busy with odds and ends and all the usual stuff around here.  Worked out in the yard a while and gathered up a large bag full of pine cones, small branches and such.  Pulled a few weeds, too.

Stay safe and God Bless America!
