I'm Just Saying . . . . . .
The world is in a state of unease and unhappiness. So, make your own joy, be kind, and take care of yourself and your loved ones. You can choose to look on the positive side of things. I know Les and I are trying. True, some days are easier than others, but we try. And if someone else has issues with why you seem happier, ignore them.

Just an Extra Funny Post Today
Another Early Gift
Les gave me the little lighted cat tree! Thank you, honey! It looks perfect next to Fat Santa that Dad made.

In Case Anyone Has the Holiday Blahs
On Pam's last trip to Italy, she got us this great small calendar that has been stuck to our refrigerator door this year. On December 1st, I was going around and flipping calendar pages. I was expecting the December picture to be of a Cathedral or the Vatican. I just have to post this. It made me smile. And I said "Well, what a way to make merry!"
Thanks again, Pam!
And I hope everyone is having a good Christmas season!

Hey!
I hope everyone is well and staying safe. Les and I are okayish.
It is cold, windy, and gray here. May have some flurries later. In a previous post I mentioned that the weather forecast had snow in it. They had said one to two inches. We got at least five inches here in our area. Our very nice neighbor shoveled our walk and driveway for us! He did it late at night and we didn't know until I looked out and saw it was all cleaned off. Nice guy!
Our guys came yesterday to clean up leaves again, mow, edge, and trim. At the moment the yard looks pretty good.

Good Movie and Good Time!
Thank you, Les, for thinking of this, and thank you to Jacquie for taking me!
We just got a Winter Storm advisory for tomorrow. The last one we had, after all the closings and delays a few days ago, gave us some very, very slight flurries here. I am hoping they are wrong again for our area. This morning we had freezing fog.
Take care and stay safe. Life is good, be kind. And God Bless America!

Time For Some Updates
I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Les and I are okayish here.
I have been busy keeping up with things and taking care of some projects. And of course, decorating.
Thanksgiving was very nice. Jacquie, Chris, and the girls all came and we had a very nice dinner and visit.
Then the next afternoon Jacquie, Jordan, and Ellie came over to help with decorating. J & J got the trees moved out and put together. Then they helped me finish with the outside decorations. I had bought new lighted garland that I needed help with. Ellie took care of decorating for Mr. Gnome. She did a great job!
Then over the weekend I got both trees decorated and other small decorations set out. We have some that have been made by family members, some passed down to us from grandparents, and some we've collected from traveling.
I got a bunch of errands done, mailed cards and packages, and made phone calls and did "desk stuff". Also managed to get my hair trimmed.
Yesterday we started getting Winter storm alerts and warnings. Our area is on the edge of the system. So far all we've gotten was a flurry of snow and it's cold and wet. Charlie's and Ellie's schools closed for today though. Farther North, there is more snow and roads and covered.
Les and I have started watching our favorite Christmas movies. And, yes, "Die Hard" was the first one! We've added another movie to our "list" and consider the first "Lethal Weapon" movie also a Christmas movie.
Tomorrow morning Jacquie is taking me to see the new "Wicked" movie! Fun!
Take care of yourselves and stay safe. Life is good. Be kind, and God Bless America!
