It's been a while since I've posted. So here is the update.
Yes, I did get my new hearing aids and I like them very much. I have also had a follow-up with the Audiologist for some fine tuning that she wanted. I see her again in January.
Les did go for the heart procedure, but the problem was not resolved due to it not sustaining long enough. The doctor said he had worked on Les so long that it was time to stop. Les sees him again in January. We'll see what happens then. Les is "doing alright" if you ask him. We are okayish.
Les got a new smaller "rollator" walker that I can fold up and get in the car for him. Jordan came over and put it together. Thank you, Jordan! Les is getting around inside okay with his larger one that Jordan also put together.
We have had frost a couple times, leaves are still falling down. The yard guys have started doing leaf cleanup when they come to edge, trim, and mow. The sprinkler system has been turned off. I have emptied the porch pots and put those away and put protectant on the antique chairs that we use for plant stands on the porch. I have also cut back the Liriope and the Day Lilies.
I have continued with some cleaning jobs and am almost done with Christmas shopping. Of course, this week is devoted to Thanksgiving preparations! The turkey is in the refrigerator thawing.
Finnigan has started wanting to snuggle on my shoulder again and has been a little clingy. He follows me and "asks" for me to sit so he can snuggle. He has been playing more, too.
Stay safe, take care of yourselves, and be kind. God Bless America!
