Just Saying Hi

I  hope everyone is well and taking care of themselves. This Summer the heat and humidity seems worse, and there are also many storms, floods, and fires around our country.  I've noticed though that this has not stopped all the online posts for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.   People are just hoping for cooler weather, I think.

I've been trying to keep up with things.  And I'm also making an effort to just sit and read a little more during the day.  Sometimes that happens, sometimes not.

Our new loveseat was delivered.  Finnigan went to work inspecting it as soon as the delivery men left.  He says it is okay.

The next work waiting to be done is for the gutter people to come and do a bit of repair work.  A downspout has come loose from the gutter and I can't fix it.  And also, our neighbor's tree roots are pushing up a couple of our fence boards and we need to have that looked at.  Calls have been made and work will be done when schedules permit.
