Well.......

If anyone is still readying this Blog, you know I haven't done very well posting recently.  We are still here, still accepting, and still adjusting.

Since that last post, Les has been to the ER and in the hospital again.  We have been going to follow-up appointments.  We saw more doctors on this last admittance that before.  We have seen two new Infectious Disease doctors who have Les taking a new medicine to hopefully prevent recurring infections.  So far, so good.  He does what he can, and he gets around well with the new walker.

As for me, I liked the loaner hearing aids I tried and returned those.  I am on my doctor's wait list to discuss new ones if Riverside ever makes a decision. If they don't, I may have to investigate getting aids elsewhere.  I have had my annual mammogram and all is well there.

In mid-September we both got our senior Flu vaccines.  Then last week we got our Covid boosters.

Les has been to the Cardiology clinic and we were told what the results were from the month of wearing the monitor.  He will be scheduled for a Cardiac ablation to repair some issues, but that probably won't be until after the first of the year.

Our yard was aerated and seeded.  There are some little grass sprouts coming up. There are still a couple small bare areas from the tree removal damage.  But overall things are looking better outside.

The HOA annual inspection took place and we got a letter saying our soffits and trim were all dirty and stained and we needed to fix.  They are not and the entire house had been recently power washed.  I wrote a very polite letter and explained that what she was calling dirt and stains was simply the difference in the colors.  And I said that when we got our new siding, we did all the proper forms and applications, sent samples of everything, colors, pictures, and said in the application that we were keeping all the same trim colors and that is had all been approved by the ARB.  I have not heard back from the inspector, but I am ready. 😊

Our girls and families are doing well and everyone is busy.

The weather is cooler right now and I am enjoying having the windows open a little.  Finnigan likes the open windows, too.

Other than all of this, I am trying to keep up with things around here.  Take care of yourselves and stay safe.  Be kind.  And God Bless America!
