Les planned to do yard work today.  That's  not happening.  According to our rain gauge, we had four inches of rain last evening.  Les went out to check the yard and it's too wet in some areas to even walk on, let alone run the mower over it.  So we are waiting.

Just so you know, those four inches of rain were not connected to Florence.  We're still watching her to see what she's going to do later in the week.  Our friends in South Carolina are watching her, too.  Besides Florence, there are now Helene and Issac forming out over the Atlantic.  Busy time of the hurricane season for our area.

I cooked breakfast and we watched a movie, read the paper, and just relaxed.  I'm battling an optical migraine with the accompanying headache right now.  But I think it is getting better.  At least I can see whole words again!
