Okay! Enough!
This picture was taken this morning from our office window. It started snowing about 1:00 yesterday afternoon. The closings across the bottom of the TV screen started Tuesday afternoon. 😊 It is obviously still very cold here and in the 20's right now but is supposed to get to around 40 today and warmer for the next few days. The sun is so bright and shiny that some melting has begun. Schools and other places are still closed and many roads are still bad but things should improve soon. Les says we got about 3 1/2".
I have found a new hairdresser earlier in the week that I really like and am currently happy with my hair. She was very good and I will go back.
We met with one contractor about the work in the kitchen we'd like to get done. He was very nice and informative. We were supposed to meet with another yesterday but they rescheduled due to the weather and can't come until next week. We have narrowed down some of our decisions with just the one conversation with the first contractor, so we are on the way.
I have made it to the "Y" once this week when we both went on Monday. The pool was closed for a "sanitation situation" so I just did the machines. Les got there again on Tuesday and then we've stayed in and out of the weather. We will eventually get back to a normal routine. And hopefully, the guys will get back to playing golf. Four of the group showed up at the course to play on Monday, but Les said "nope!" it was going to be too wet and cold. The weekend looks promising with a forecast of temperatures in the 50's and low 60's. I know they are all anxious to get back out there!
I've been doing some of the small jobs and chores that build up. You know, the little things that need to be done, but you just keep putting off. Pretty much took care of all of those. There is a big list of bigger chores that need to be done, but they all require a lot warmer weather . We've both been reading some good books and watching our recorded shows.
So, life remains good! Stay safe and God Bless America!
