Hey, all,
Golfer and I are back from vacation. We had a lovely week in Myrtle Beach. He was playing in the National Retired Military Golf Classic. Some of his golf buddies play this tournament also and they were there with their wives. So we had friends to visit with along with our family. Nurse J, CableGuy and BeyB were there just for the Memorial Day weekend. They had to get back because school is not over yet here in Virginia. Bikini, Brief, Boxer and Bloomer had the whole week with us and we had fun on the beach, in the pools, and just visiting.
So now we're back home and after a couple days of playing catch-up, things are getting back to normal - if there is any such thing. The laundry is done, the house is cleaned, the bills are paid. We spent some time working in the yard. As usual after our May beach trip, when we returned home the lovely pansies in the front bed were ready to say bye-bye. So I pulled them up, trimmed the shrubs and planted geraniums. Also planted some in two large pots for the deck and patio. We have day lilies blooming and the Mimosa tree is lovely. There are still a couple azaleas blooming, too. The new hydrangea that is blooming started out as light lavender and is now purple. Very pretty!
The furry kids are happy we are home. We'll see how they feel when we bring them a new brother and/or sister one of these days. We've decided it's time now, not that we could ever replace Hermione, but we know there are kitties out there who need good homes.
I'm back to work. Life goes on and life is good. I saw something recently that I liked: "I am who I am and that's all you need to know".
Stay safe! More later.
