I hope everyone is well!
It's been a busy week here. Time change always seems to disrupt sleep patterns for a couple days, but we're pretty much back to "normal" here. Les has had multiple appointments. The speech therapy is going okay. Occupational therapy evaluation was done and that therapy will start this coming week. This should help manual dexterity, handwriting, etc.
He also had a lab appointment with our GP Doctor. And lastly, he saw one of our orthopedic doctors. The MRI did show meniscus tears. And while Les has not had the pain since the cortisone injection and the fluid was drawn out, his leg is still unstable and he does not trust it. And that means he can't do the exercises he needs to do. He will be having surgery on his left knee in the near future. We should be getting a call this week to get things started for scheduling and pre-surgery testing.
This coming week there are more therapy sessions and a couple other doctor appointments. In between those I am keeping up with things as much as possible. So far, so good. I have hoped to get out to do some yard work but I can't seem to get the weather and my my energy to sync up! Either it's too cold or wet or I'm too tired or achy. 😊 It will eventually happen. I do have our usual guy/company lined up to do some cleanup and put down new cedar mulch. And I finally got pansies for our porch pots!!
The pansies always make me happy, so I've been anxious to get them!
Our girls and families are all okay and busy. Our family members in Ohio are now doing better.
Please take care of yourselves and stay safe. God Bless America!
